Season’s Greetings from Baltic Yachts
20 December 2024
We wish the Baltic Family, owners, crews, suppliers, partners, and friends a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
2024 has been another remarkable year for Baltic Yachts, marked by outstanding achievements both on and off the water. Baltic 110 Zemi won the Sailing Yachts 30m to 39.9m Award, while the Baltic 111 Raven was honored with the Judge’s Special Award in the same category and the one-off boat winner in Foiling Awards.
This year also saw the launch of several exciting new projects, including the Baltic 80 Custom, Baltic 68-03 Café Racer, and Baltic 65 Custom. In addition, we have initiated a number of major refit projects both at the yard in Finland and our Service & Refit center in Palma de Mallorca, including the Baltic 175 Ravenger and the Pendennis 90 Wavelength.
A significant milestone in 2024 was the relocation to our expanded Jakobstad facility. With many key departments now working alongside our yacht construction and assembly halls—such as CNC operations, joinery, pre-mounting, surface treatment, and lamination—we are well-positioned to meet future demands with even greater efficiency.
Our continued innovation is evident in the ongoing construction of the fourth Baltic 68 Café Racer, the Baltic 121 Custom, and our very first multihull project, the Baltic 107 Catamaran. In Jakobstad the next major refit project is Gaia, a 100ft classically styled sloop built by Spirit Yachts and in Palma, Baltic Yachts Service & Refit has 20 major projects under way including ten sailing yachts over 100ft LOA. Half of these are members of Baltic’s own fleet while the other half are from other shipyards. The works include everything from regular maintenance and gardiennage service to electrical system replacement, hybrid power installation, carbon composite structural work, new composite parts, full interior restyles, PLC system upgrades and more.
We also celebrated the release of the Anniversary Issue of the Baltic Log, a fitting tribute to our legacy as we continue to push the boundaries of yacht design and craftsmanship.
This year, as in years past, we’ve chosen to forgo traditional Christmas cards in favor of making donations to environmental organisations dedicated to protecting the Mediterranean and Baltic Sea. We continue to support Save the Med and the John Nurminen Foundation.
