For the Baltic Family 2023 was a year filled of celebrations to mark the company’s foundation 50 years ago and recognize its success not only through the many boats it has built, but also the very special people involved.  One of the many highlights of the year was when we transformed our waterfront facility in Jakobstad into a spectacular party venue for an event attended by 500 guests.

The evening offered good food, music, entertainment, speeches and getting to know a few of those who have played a fundamental role in the history and success of Baltic Yachts as the videos below were shown during the evening.

Ole is one of the longest serving members of staff at Baltic Yachts who started his boatbuilding career in June 1978. Ole holds deep experience across many disciplines and is a key person for the developments in our core competence in advanced carbon composite laminates.

Lisbeth led the company for 18 years with a unique combination of empathy yet a steely and analytical approach to economy. During her time as Managing Director, Baltic Yachts went from strength to strength and took it to the cusp of the game changing era of modern superyachting.

As a founding member of Baltic Yachts, Per-Göran ‘PG’ Johansson has remained a constant source of knowledge, vision and inspiration throughout the company’s 50-year history, playing a fundamental role in shaping a business from its series production boat building roots to a world leader in advanced composite superyachts.
