BALTIC 77 BLACK PEARL
The Baltic 77 is a lifting-keel performance sloop for a European client. She’s a good-looking, powerful sailing yacht with luxurious accommodation.
We worked closely with the owner, naval architect Bill Tripp and project manager Jens Cornelsen, and it was good to develop a project in which everybody shared the same aim of producing a fast boat using high-grade materials and construction methods including infusion lamination processes.
Black Pearl features a transom dinghy garage, owner’s accommodation forward and a Hall Spars rig. This project represented our first collaboration with Rhoades Young, who did an excellent job on the interior styling. Black Pearl was delivered in summer 2008.
