BALTIC 60 ULTIMATE THIRD
This 60ft cruiser/racer was taken from the same hull and deck moulds as her sistership, the Baltic 60 Mattone, and used the same hi-tech build process of isopthalic resins, aramid fibre and unidirectional-glass laminates.
This resulted in substantial weight saving compared with conventional materials and methods usually employed for a yacht of this type.
While the two boats were similar in build methods and materials, the interior layout and equipment specification were tailor-made and quite different. The accommodation lay-out comprised an owner’s suite forward with two further double gust cabins aft and a smaller amidships saloon.
Her masthead rig and fixed bulb keel were similar to those specified for Mattone.
Both yachts proved to be extremely capable racer/cruisers
