BALTIC 56-02

In contrast to 56/01 this yacht was far less complex, but suited her owner perfectly within the context of a semi-custom 56-footer. Her layout and concept were closer to the basic 56 design.

She was, nonetheless, unique in her own way. Her deck and interior layouts were tailor made to suite this particular owner who wanted to use her mainly for family sailing and the occasional fun race.

Compared to the complex appendages of 56/01 this boat had a relatively simple fixed keel.

In order to compensate for the extra weight of cruising equipment, high-technology hull, deck and interior construction methods were used to full advantage.

Hull and the deck laminates were carbon and epoxy, the latter vacuum injected for optimum control.

Six 56s were built, all very different within the semi-custom parameters we set, but all meeting the precise demands of each owner.
