WELCOME HOME PINK GIN!

Last week, we spotted a handsome silhouette on the horizon outside our dockside facilities in Pietarsaari. The Baltic Family is thrilled to share with you the return of Baltic 175 Pink Gin, the largest carbon fibre sloop in the world, for some scheduled maintenance. Every bit as breathtaking as the day she was launched, the boat arrived looking immaculate after an uneventful transatlantic, having participated in the Superyacht Challenge Antigua in March.

The video shows her approach and arrival in Pietarsaari, where we welcomed the crew with a traditional Finnish sauna and refreshments.

Pink Gin was launched in 2017 and, at 53.90m LOA, is the second largest yacht we have built since our foundation almost 50 years ago. The magnificent looking sloop is an inspiring example of how yard and owner can work successfully together, exploring every avenue of innovation, engineering and design to make a blue water dream come true.

She features several Baltic Yachts’ innovations, including a Force Feedback Steering system and two opening balconies in her topsides. The personalised settings built into the steering system help helmsmen find the steering ‘feel’ which best suits them. The balconies provide a grand entrance amidships to port and a personal bathing platform in the owner´s suite to starboard. Both these features are genuine firsts in superyachting and were a result of groundbreaking design and engineering. Having completed more than 75,000 nautical miles since her launch, Pink Gin is a testament to our ability to deliver to the owner’s brief, which in this case called for a fast, comfortable platform for long distance cruising and entertainment.
