THE BALTIC LOG SPRING 2020

16 April 2020

The latest edition of the Baltic Log, Spring 2020, is here bringing you the latest news from the yard in Finland. One of our key messages is the need for a more sustainable future in yachting and yacht building. Major innovation at Baltic Yachts including electric propulsion and hydrogeneration make our sailing even more appealing environmentally. New, natural building materials like flax and more efficient, easier ways of going sailing are encapsulated in our exciting new project the Baltic 68 Café Racer.

Work continues apace on Baltic 117 and Baltic 146, both due to launch next year and there are updates on the recently launched Baltic 112 Liara, which showed great promise at her first competitive outing at the Superyacht Challenge Antigua, and Baltic 142 Canova, whose revolutionary Dynamic Stability System foil and hydrogeneration system have exceeded expectations in performance.

We hope that this Baltic Log delivers some respite in the difficult times we are living through as the world confronts the threat of the Coronavirus pandemic. Sailing may still be on hold for you right now, but your Baltic Log aims to provide a positive view of what lies ahead.
