HENRY HAWKINS TO SPEAK AT FUTURE SAILING EVENT

Baltic Yachts Executive Vice President Henry Hawkins will be part of the panel discussing the Next Generation of Sailing at a conference dedicated exclusively to the future of sailing yachts and the sailing lifestyle.

 

Staged by Boat International, the event – BOAT Live: Life Under Sail – will be held at the Yacht Club de Monaco on 13 November and will attract key personnel from the worldwide yachting industry.

 

Under discussion will be market and design trends, the challenges and opportunities for growth and, importantly, how to connect with new audiences in the world of sailing.

 

With sailing yachts holding an environmental advantage when it comes to travelling the world, the conference aims to explore how life under sail and the sailing lifestyle can be presented as the eco-friendly way to own a yacht.

Also speaking at the event will be Gordon Kay of Infiniti Yachts who has worked closely with Baltic Yachts on the Dynamic Stability System for the recently launched Baltic 142 Canova, the first yacht of her size and type be fitted with an athwartships foil to improve comfort and performance.

 

Other subjects will include the State of the Market, Driving Change, Design Solutions, Into the Unknown, about new cruising grounds, and Raising The Bar, which will look at yachts of 100m plus.
