Baltic 112 Liara leaves Finland on global adventure

19 June 2019

Following successful trials and delivery to her owner, Baltic 112 Liara left Jakobstad last week to start a global adventure taking her to New Zealand and the America’s Cup in 2021 via the UK, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.

In her cool blue livery, the Malcolm McKeon-designed sloop, with a stunning contemporary interior by Adam Lay, slipped her mooring and sailed south through the Gulf of Bothnia.

Liara is designed as an easy to handle, comfortable family cruising yacht capable of crossing oceans at real pace. She is also equipped to take part in competitive events when required and the St Barths Bucket and Caribbean 600 2020 are already on the owner’s ‘to do’ list.

Following a summer cruising in the Mediterranean one of Liara’s key ports of call will be the Monaco Yacht Show (25-28 September) where she will form the main exhibit for Baltic Yachts.  We look forward to seeing you there!

We wish Liara, her owner and crew fair winds and bon voyage!
