“Quality that speaks for itself”

“I got to know Baltic Yachts by sailing on one of our products”, says Henry Hawkins, CEO of the company. Hawkins started sailing professionally as a teenager and quickly became aware of how a yacht should best serve her owner’s needs. Today he employs this knowledge to good effect matching clients with their ideal yacht.

For Hawkins, personal interaction with the client is key and he recognises the importance of keeping the company easily approachable. “We are always delighted to welcome customers to our world class facilities here in Jakobstad, Finland, so they can witness first hand the dedication and level of professionalism we put into our work.”

The Baltic way of doing things means that there are no compromises when it comes to quality. The mission of Baltic Yachts is to make complex, high-tech solutions look and feel simple to their users. We achieve this through our multi-skilled personnel. “One person may have some expertise in one or two areas and a deep understanding in others. This flexibility enables us to build yachts boats that really function – they work.”

Each design process is characterised with integrity and detail, traits that the Finnish people are well known for. “We do not have to impress our customers by jumping up and down and singing, instead we deliver quality that speaks for itself.”
