MATTHEW LESTER IS BALTIC’S NEW HEAD OF AFTER SALES SERVICE

10 April 2019

Baltic Yachts has appointed Matthew Lester as the company’s new Head of After Sales, a role which assumes responsibility for Baltic Yachts’ important Service and Refit operation.  He will be based in the company’s Muelle Viejo offices in Palma de Mallorca in the heart of the superyacht community.

Matthew, a familiar face on the superyacht circuit, who has worked with Baltic Yachts since 2006, will be on hand to answer your After Sales questions at the upcoming Palma Superyacht Show running from 27 April to 1 May, so please feel free to stop by our stand SY30.

Baltic Yachts’ CEO Henry Hawkins commented:

“Matthew brings an invaluable combination of hands on sailing experience and one-to-one contact with owners, skippers and crew enabling him to understand the detailed needs of customers.”

Matthew, who can often be seen doing the ‘heavy lifting’ at regattas aboard yachts like WinWin, Nilaya and Nikata, said: “This is a great opportunity to develop our after sales and support operations and I hope my understanding of this complex industry will further improve our service to clients.”

Baltic Yachts’ highly skilled Service and Refit team, with centres in Palma, Mallorca and Jakobstad, Finland, offers everything from complete project management and a full range of superyachting building skills to administering Temporary Import Licences (TPA) and arranging surveys.

The Palma Superyacht Show, now in its seventh year, is due to attract up to 80 yachts for sale or charter plus companies from across the superyacht industry.

This year the show is collaborating with CleanWave, a non-profit making organisation, one of whose aims is to reduce the use of ‘single serve’ plastic bottles in the Balearics, an issue close to the heart of the superyacht industry.
