We are delighted to announce that Baltic 115 Nikata, the all-carbon, custom-built high performance cruiser/racer launched in 2015, has achieved great success in prestigious design awards internationally. Nikata was recently awarded as best sailing yacht in the 24-40m category at the International Superyacht Society (ISS) Awards, which took place during the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.
Earlier this year Nikata won the judges special award for design and performance during the World Superyacht Awards (Florence).
Altogether Nikata has won six awards this year, since she swept the board with wins in four categories at the ShowBoats Design Awards, as the first Baltic yacht through history. Nikata walked off with an array of trophies, winning the following categories: Exterior Design and Styling Award; Interior Layout and Design Award; Naval Architecture Award and the Holistic Design Award.
With naval architecture by judel/vrolijk & co, project management by MCM and on deck and accommodation design and styling by Milan-based Nauta Design, Baltic Yachts succeeded once again to produce a breed of yacht which continues to close the gap between unrestricted luxury for family cruising and a racing machine capable of grand prix style super maxi competition.
